Explore Cleveland’s North Coast Yard in Downtown Cleveland

Cleveland Summertime Fun at North Coast Yard

This Father’s Day, my siblings and I took our dad to North Coast Yard in downtown Cleveland for Soul Food Sunday, and it was the perfect way to celebrate. With sunny skies, lake views, and a lively atmosphere, North Coast Yard has quickly become one of my favorite new spots for Cleveland summer activities. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the fun, relaxed vibe that makes it such a great destination! I’m born and raised on the East side of Cleveland and NEVER heard of this place but it is so cool!

Soul Food and a Historic Steamship Tour

We kicked things off by touring the 100 year old retired steamship, the William G. Mather, owned by Cleveland Cliffs. This floating museum is full of fascinating history and offers stunning views of the lakefront. Afterward, we grabbed an incredible meal from the Zanzibar Soul Fusion food truck, a perfect way to end a day of exploring. Between the mouthwatering food, lake views, and the ship’s history, it was a Father’s Day to remember.

Activities and Lakefront Vibes

North Coast Yard offers plenty of ways to enjoy Cleveland’s waterfront. We relaxed in the shaded seating areas, watched cruises, speedboats, and sailboats pass by, and took in the peaceful summer atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to spend an afternoon soaking up the sun and making memories. Check out my TikTok and Instagram for the full content from the day!
